Introduction
The Higher Diploma in Computing & Information Technology blends Specialist and Advanced Diplomas to provide a well-rounded education. It prepares students for varied roles, balancing practice and theory. The curriculum covers diverse subjects, fostering skills and understanding. Integrating Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications ensures a broad education. It explores theories and emerging tech, preparing students with problem-solving skills and expertise. Graduates possess a solid foundation and attributes vital for success. Industry Attachment (IA) offers real-world exposure, and a 6-month internship enriches experience and skills.
Entry Requirements
Academic Requirement:
- Obtained at least 2 GCE A-Level passes, including Mathematics and *English; OR
- Obtained International Baccalaureate Diploma (at least 24 points) or other equivalent pre-university certifications; OR
- Completion of GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Computing and Information Technology) or equivalent; OR
- NUS High School Diploma; OR
- Polytechnic Diploma (e.g. Diploma in Business Information System/ Information Technology/ Computing related field); OR
- Other PEI qualifications (e.g. Diploma in Business Information System/ Information Technology/ Computing related field that is equivalent to GSTM’s Diploma) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis; OR
- Matured student: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience will be considered.
English Language Requirement:
- *A pass in English at GCE' O' Level or Equivalent; OR
- IELTS 5.5 and or equivalent; OR
- Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English
