Course introduction

Introduction

The Preparatory Course for Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) is designed for students who have completed GCE O-Level with acceptable results, to gain access to undergraduate studies locally and internationally.

Upon completion of the course, students will sit for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) which is conducted jointly by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the Ministry of Education, Singapore and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB).

The GCE A-Level certificate is a qualification recognised internationally and valued by universities and employers alike. It allows students to gain entry into local and overseas universities to further their education.

•3 Credits in GCE O-Level / Year 10 or equivalent
•Minimum Age: 17 years old (as at 1st January of the examination year for GCE A-Level examinations)
•Language Proficiency: At least a Pass (Grade C6) in GCE O-Level / Year 10 English / Certificate in English (CIE) or equivalent / Online English Placement Test conducted by MDIS / Achieve score of 75 and above in Duolingo English Test or equivalent
24 Months
•3 Credits in GCE O-Level / Year 10 or equivalent
•Minimum Age: 16 years old (at least 17 years old as at 1st January of the year of GCE A-Level examinations)
