The ability to adapt, acquire and apply new knowledge becomes the linchpin for professional success. Learnability drives the development of transferable skills, enabling professionals to navigate the ever-changing landscape of industries and markets. The Master of Arts Education programme offered by the University Of Sunderland in partnership with MDIS is designed to equip professionals with a mindset of continuous growth and resilience in the face of evolving challenges.
The Master of Arts Education programme aims to enable professionals to:
Introduction to Criticality (30 credits)
Curriculum in the Contemporary World (30 credits)
Research Methods in Education (30 credits)
The Nature of Teaching and Learning (30 credits) OR Leadership, Leader Identity and Educational Organisations (30 credits)
MA Thesis (60 credits)
The average lecturer/student ratio is 1 : 100 (lecture)
The average lecturer/student ratio is 1 : 20 (tutorial)
Master of Arts Education Entry Requirements – Enrol with MDIS Singapore
Applicants must be of age 21 and above and have one of the following academic qualifications:
1) Applicants are usually required to hold at least a second-class honours degree (2:1) or equivalent
2) Applicants should also have experience of working in education; this may be as a teacher or in another capacity in the field of education. A recognised teaching qualification is an advantage, but not an essential requirement for this course.
Note: All applications are subject to the final approval by the University of Sunderland.
