Course Introduction
The Diploma in FinTech programme consists of 8 modules and may be completed in 8 months. It is a comprehensive programme that combines finance and technology to prepare students for the exciting field of financial technology. Students will have the opportunity to delve into various areas, including digital payments and e-commerce, economics, finance and banking, and fintech applications. Through this programme, students will gain valuable insights into the latest trends and their impact on the financial services industry. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications, students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the dynamic landscape of fintech and contribute to the innovation and transformation of the financial sector.

In the event of cancellation, you will be notified at least 1 week before the programme commencement date, stated in your student contract with Kaplan, and our consultants will contact you to advise on a backup plan.

Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Kaplan Foundation Diploma; OR
- Minimum 1 GCE A-Level pass; OR
- Other private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis (based on the equivalence to the GCE A-Level); OR
- Mature candidates (30 years old and above, with a minimum of 8 years of work experience)
English Language Requirements
- At least C6 in GCE O-Level English or equivalent

Education Loan
Choice of flexible repayment schemes available to suit your needs:
- Standard Repayment: Pay your monthly instalments (principal and interest) once your loan is disbursed.
- Partial Repayment: Pay partial instalments for up to 3 years or till the end of your programme, whichever is earlier. Standard monthly instalments (principal and interest) will commence thereafter.
- Interest Servicing: Pay only interest for up to 3 years or till the end of your programme, whichever is earlier. Standard monthly instalments (principal and interest) will commence thereafter.
- Flexible repayment tenure of up to 8 years.
Study Mode & Duration
Assessment
Each module is assessed by any combination of continuous assessments, examinations, presentations, projects or written assignments. Assessment methods may vary according to individual module requirements.

Blended learning, which is a combination of face-to-face teaching and online learning, has been introduced to the Diploma programme to improve your learning experience.
Each Kaplan Diploma programme consists of 8 modules that may be completed in a minimum of 8 months over 4 terms. Each module is timetabled to include face-to-face contact hours and supplemented with online lessons. Materials are made available via real-time online learning and on-demand self-directed learning.

Maximum allowed candidature period
- 16 months
If a student fails to complete the programme within the candidature period, they will not be entitled to any recourse or refund.
